How does a reading work?
Simon begins his psychic readings with a short five to ten minute meditation that helps to relax his clients and open their energy. He then begins the reading with a non-denominational prayer which sets the spiritual intentions for the reading. After the prayer, he asks to hold an object (such as ring, watch, or necklace) and will enter into a light trance for two to three minutes where he receives information from the psychic and spiritual realms. He will then begin the reading by talking about this information and later ask you to read the questions that you have brought and prepared ahead of time. What should I bring to my reading?
- You should bring a list of questions that you would like to discuss. It is important to know why you are meeting with a psychic and what you would like to accomplish and receive from a session. Moreover, while Simon is psychic, he is not “all knowing” and would prefer to spend his time using his psychic abilities to answer your questions rather than trying to guess what they are or formulate them himself. The questions can be on any topic that you would like and serve as a stepping-stone to go deeper into meaningful areas of your life.
- You should bring an object of yours that you wear (such as a ring, necklace, watch, ect.) that has not previously been owned by anybody else. Objects (especially metals) hold energetic imprints from the people who wear them and by holding an object during our reading I am better able to tune into your energy and give a more accurate reading. While objects are not necessary, they are often quite helpful.
- You may also choose to bring a photograph, handwriting sample, or an object of a friend or relative that you would like me to connect with. As mentioned above, objects help me to better tune into specific individuals and their energies.
How should I prepare?
- The night before your reading you should abstain from alcohol and drugs, as these substances tend to cloud the aura and make spiritual communication difficult.
- You should think, feel, and visualize the questions that you would like answered, and ask for assistance from your particular religious or spiritual system. If you do not have a set of religious or spiritual beliefs, I ask that you stay open minded about the possibilities of our reading and still think, feel, and visualize your questions.
Rates: 1 Hour Private Reading
Private readings are done in person, on Skype, or on the telephone. In-person private readings are held at the delightfully warm Meta Center, located at 214 West 29th Street in New York City. House visits can also be arranged. For Skype and telephone readings, Simon will call or Skype you at a telephone number or Skype name of your choice. His rate is $180 for an hour reading.
Payment and Cancelation Policy:
First, please email Simon to schedule the date and time of your reading. Simon can be reached by email at PsychicInNewYork@gmail.com. Once this has been confirmed, you can purchase your reading by clicking on the “Check out with PayPal” button located on the right-hand side of your screen. The button will direct you to the Paypal website, the merchant service Simon uses to manage his transactions. Please enter $180 and click “Update Total.” If you are already a Paypal member, login and to conclude your purchase. If you are not a member, please click on the “Continue to Check Out” link located at the middle-left-hand side of the screen, to the left of the Paypal login. Simon respects and values his clients’ time and asks that they do the same for him by showing up on time and being prepared for their reading. He requires that all readings be scheduled in advance and reserved with a credit card. Once your card has been processed, you may cancel your reading 48 hours before your scheduled time and receive a full reimbursement. If you cancel in less then 48 hours before your reading or are unable to show up for your reading, you will be charged a $35 cancellation fee and will be given credit towards a future reading. If you cancel or do not show up for the second reading, your credit will be canceled and a refund will not be provided. On extremely rare occasions, Simon is unable to read for a client; under this unusual circumstance a refund is provided.
Phone and Skype Readings:
If on the day and time of your scheduled reading, you are unable to answer your phone or Skype name, or if you cancel in less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be presented a credit that can be used for another reading. If you cancel after making a second appointment, or are unable to answer your phone or Skype name for the second appointment, the credit will be canceled and a refund will not be provided.
